Blisters occur when two skin surfaces rub together causing friction, resulting in a bubble of liquid.

This can be due to a number of reasons including: wearing new shoes, non fitting shoes, repetitive activities (i.e. running or sports). It can be extremely painful and if not dealt with can lead to infection.
